Miss Hayley

Hi! My name is Hayley Waisome, and I am a middle and high school reading teacher located in South Florida. I graduated in May of 2021 from Broward College with a Bachelor's degree in Special Education with endorsements in Reading and ESOL. Throughout my teaching career, I have gained experience working with preschool, elementary, middle, and high school students of various backgrounds and abilities; it is always my priority to make sure that my lessons are both academically fulfilling and mentally engaging.

There are many things that I enjoy about living in South Florida, but my favorite aspects are the warm weather, the great people, and the delicious food. In my free time, I enjoy singing, watching addicting tv-series and movies, hanging out with my friends, engaging in spiritual activities, and spending time with my family. Also, I have recently started learning how to box, as a form of exercise, and I am really enjoying developing this new skill!

This will be my second time serving as a preschool teacher for Mighty Kids Virtual Academy, and I am glad to have been invited back for the summer! I am really looking forward to meeting all of the new faces and contributing to the educational success of all my students. Let the journey begin!
